Drama Workshop!

This morning, 3rd Feb all Ty's had a drama workshop. I thought we were going to be practicing our plays from Mullingar but it was about making shapes with your bodies. It sounds a bit odd.. but it was so much fun. I was partnered with Dav, one person made a shape, for example I could stand with my legs shoulder width apart an have my hands on my hips, and the other person had to fill the holes in that shape with their bodies.
We had to pick two shapes each and to a count of 8 we had to move from one shape to the other as smoothly as possible, it was shortened to a count of 4, then 2, then 1. It was funny to watch everyone and I'm sure they all thought the same hahahah!

Shocking!

This week we were given a new project for Geography, we have to create a leaflet to inform someone travelling to a third world country of the dangers of diseases in that country. Some of the diseases are really not nice so I'll be careful in what I choose.

In Home Ec myself and Karen made sweet and sour chicken and it actually tasted fine.. I was quite proud of it because we're really not the best cooks. And did you know, sweet and sour sauce isn't really red, you use food colouring! I was shocked, all these years I have been having sweet and sour from the Chinese and I now discover it's not red. It's supposed to be clear in colour so I suppose it's more aesthetically pleasing if it's red. I think Karen took a photo so I'll post it if she did!
